I have been using Mumtaj for around 10 years and have to say it is still the tastiest curry in St Albans. Very well priced and some great specials.

Quite frankly the best Lamb Nashilee ever. Mumtaj never disappoints.

Love Mumtaj

By far the best Indian in Herts. I have sampled most of their menu and the lamb is out of this world. The chicken actually tastes like chicken rather than a lot of other curry restaurants that clearly buy the cheapest they can find.

Also even when they are not busy they cook all their food from scratch no corners which is certainly worth the wait. These guys believe in quality over quantity which goes to prove with the amount of awards that they have on their wall.

Well done boys.

First went to the Mumtaj in 1988. Love the place. There again last night with the family and the food was as good as ever. Onion Bhajis were fresh and crisp, the Mumtaj Special was light and fragrant. Made a great change from my usual Passandas and Kormas, with their rich sauces. Best in town...
